YSF Expanding Presence in Visual and Audio Media

On Sunday, April 14th, a meeting was held to discuss and exchange opinions on the growing presence of the Young Scientists Festival (YSF) in visual and audio media. Key attendees included Dr. Shadi Jamili, Director of YSF Office, and Hosein Khalilnejad, Radio Producer at IRIB.

During the meeting, Dr. Soroush Moaddab, YSF Executive Manager, provided an overview of the festival’s procedures and elucidated the manner in which the YSF supports its winners. Additionally, he highlighted the YSF’s international department as an opportunity for media exposure and announced the acceptance of innovative proposals aimed at creating programs aligned with the festival’s objectives.

Dr. Shadi Jamili then articulated the unique nature of the YSF and the activities organized by the Jamili Science and Technology Foundation, emphasizing the notable involvement of the private sector as a distinguishing feature. She also underscored the festival’s focus on basic sciences and interdisciplinary activities, stressing the importance of developing engaging programs to capture the interest of youth.

Seyed Mahdi Mofidirad discussed his past collaborations with the YSF and recommended initiating a brief series as a preliminary step to assess the production process, addressing any identified issues before proceeding with the main program.

Hosein Khalilnejad expressed his contentment with the presence of such a promising festival for the nation’s youth, stressing the importance of developing a program aligned with the set objectives. He also shared his insights and perspectives on various methods of engaging the audience.

In conclusion, it was determined that practical recommendations and an implementation plan would be presented during the upcoming meeting, followed by a final coordination for the creation of audio and visual content related to the YSF.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Shadi Jamili, Dr. Soroush Moaddab, Amin Sadeghi, Hosein Khalilnejad, and Seyed Mahdi Mofidirad.
