The meeting between Dr. Soroush Moaddab, YSF Executive Manager and Amir Hossein Saghafi, Radio Producer, was held on Tuesday, April 09, 2024. The purpose was to review the YSF’s presence in radio programs at the YSF permanent secretariat.
At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Soroush Moaddab explained the process of organizing the YSF and the capacities of the YSF Laureates in order to produce radio programs. He also discussed the activities related to science promotion, mentioning it as a means of communicating with the public. He considered the involvement of all YSF departments for a positive presence in radio programs as one of the priorities of the Zarrin Industrial & Mining Group.
Amirhossein Saghafi expressed his pleasure with the festival’s role in giving hope to the youth. He viewed this as one of the matters considered by radio directors. Saghafi expressed his hope that with the presence of science, technology, and the public in the YSF, attractive and original ideas for radio programming would be developed.
Saghafi went on to discuss various ways of the YSF’s presence in radio programs and presented ideas in this field. The attendees expressed their opinions on this matter.
In the end, it was decided that after initial investigations, the policy and implementation path of the YSF’s presence in radio programs would be determined in a practical way between the parties. A council will be formed with the presence of prominent producers in this field to develop programs and related items.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Soroush Moaddab-YSF Executive Manager, Amin Sadeghi and Nastaran Kolahi- YSF experts, and Amir Hossein Saghafi and Erfan Karami, Iranian Radio and TV presenters.
