On March 5, 2024, the UNESCO Chairs Seminar titled “An Overview of the Pact of the Future” was successfully held, bringing together a diverse group of experts and specialists from around the world. The seminar, part of the ongoing series “Towards a Pact for the Future,” aimed to foster discussions and exchange knowledge on the proposed outcome document of the UN Summit of the Future: Multilateral Solutions for a Better Tomorrow.
Organized by UNESCO Chairs and UNITWIN Networks, the seminar provided a platform for participants to delve into the intricacies of the Pact for the Future, as outlined in the zero draft. The online event commenced at 15:00 (Paris time) and lasted until 16:30, attracting a wide range of attendees, including Dr. Shadi Jamili, Director of the YSF office, who was among the distinguished invitees.
The UNESCO Chairs Seminars serve as a vital forum for leveraging the collective intelligence and experience of UNESCO’s extensive network, comprising over 1000 university Chairs and UNITWIN networks worldwide.
