Exploring the YSF’s Media Representation

On Monday, April 15th, a discussion meeting was held at the YSF permanent secretariat to address the festival’s media representation. The meeting was attended by Dr. Shadi Jamili, Director of YSF Office and Ehsan Mehrjoo, Content Producer at IRIB.

At the onset of the meeting, Dr. Soroush Moaddab, YSF Executive Manager, highlighted the YSF’s capacities, mentioning the potential involvement of winners, mentors, policy council members, and the YSF executive committee in producing audio or video programs.

Subsequently, Dr. Moaddab elaborated on the process of establishing the Jamili Science and Technology Foundation and formally requested the development of a program aligned with the Foundation’s mission and objectives.

Dr. Shadi Jamili then discussed the accomplishments of IRIB programs in the realm of science, emphasizing the significance of producing captivating programs that incorporate original ideas. She also highlighted the YSF’s distinctive qualities and advantages over similar festivals, and announced the YSF’s intention to delve into scientific programming and bolster its media presence.

During the meeting, Ehsan Mehrjoo discussed the challenges of programming, stressing the importance of understanding the target audience and incorporating creative concepts. He also suggested the podcast format as an additional content option for audience engagement, citing the benefits of active audience participation.

In conclusion, the participants agreed to determine the execution path of the program between the parties, with the aim of reaching the implementation stage as soon as possible.
