Strengthening Bonds: Iranian Research Organization for Science and Technology (IROST) and Young Scientists Festival (YSF) Join Forces

In July 2023, YSF was pleased scheduling a meeting with Iranian Research Organization for Science and Technology (IROST).

Established in 1980, IROST stands as a prominent cornerstone of scientific pursuits within Iran, dedicated to the advancement, cultivation, and dissemination of cutting-edge technologies. This distinguished governmental research institution is at the forefront of addressing the nation’s challenges through innovative technological solutions.

The organization with almost 9 active faculties and a dynamic team of 150 faculty members and accomplished researchers and experts is at the helm of a diverse array of scientific and research ventures.

Scientific interactions with universities and research centers, evaluating inventions, providing equipment used in research/technology activities in different stages, evaluating new product designs and materials, providing a platform to start and enhance knowledge-based companies, holding Khwarizmi International Award has been done.

(KIA) in young and international sections, and introducing students to industries and technology units to participate in internship.

Eng. Ebrahim Jamili, President of YSF Policy-making Council, explained about Zarin Industrial and Mining Group which supports Jamili Science and Technology Foundation, Young Scientists Festival, Aan Innovation Group, and Mine Teck Accelerator.

The President of YSF Policy-making Council emphasized the event’s incorporation into the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology’s research calendar. To further bolster its global reach, the establishment of the UNESCO Basic Sciences and Technology Club is poised to elevate YSF’s internationalization.

Eng. Jamili added: the executive secretariat was founded to hold meetings with scientific festivals, informing about the YSF, expanding relations and avoiding parallelism.

Notably, the President of YSF’s Policy-making Council extended a formal request for the nomination of a designated liaison from IROST. Furthermore, Prof. Hassan Zamanian received a prestigious invitation to join YSF’s policy-making council, underscoring the collaborative spirit between these entities.

Therefore, Prof. Hassan Zamanian recommended YSF to start collaboration with Khwarizmi International Award (KIA) in young, international, and innovation sections to manage scientific courses about Artificial Intelligence.
