The Young Scientists Festival (YSF) Presents “Night with the Stars” in Tehran

According to the YSF public relations report, the “Night with the Stars” event will be held in Tehran as part of the World Astronomy Week. The primary goal of the event is to acquaint the general public with the wonders of basic sciences, with a particular emphasis on astronomy.

A “night with the Stars” event will be organized to promote science and highlight the importance of basic sciences in everyday life, with a specific focus on astronomy during the World Astronomy Week. The event will offer telescope observations of the night sky and a booth to demonstrate the role of science in daily life. Experts and enthusiasts in the fields of astronomy, physics, biology, and geology will be in attendance. The event is open to the public and free of charge.

The program is scheduled to take place on May 13 and 14 in the Milad Tower area, on May 15 at the entrance of Mellat Park, on May 16 in the Azadi Tower area, and on May 17 in the Mina Dome. “Night with the Stars” will begin at sunset and continue until 10 p.m. each night.

This event will be an annual occurrence during the World Astronomy Week. Different groups across the country organize diverse programs each year to celebrate this week.
