The Young Scientists Festival (YSF) is hosting a second invitation to top festivals for an “an opinion exchange meeting” at the University of Tehran Science and Technology Park

Young Scientists Festival recently facilitated a gathering of festival leaders at the University of Tehran Science and Technology Park.

Dr. Nasser Gholami, Head of YSF Planning & Management Committee, highlighted the six rounds of YSF and explained that the aim of this event is to establishing common values, fostering discussion and sharing experiences among festivals.

Eng. Ebrahim Jamili, President of YSF Policy-making Council, stressed the importance of collaborative efforts among festivals to avoid redundancy. He proposed a shared office space to facilitate exchanges.

Eng. Jamili underscored the significance of adhering to meeting norms to improve festival quality, advocating for the formation of a team comprising members from all festivals.

The President of YSF Policy-making Council praised University of Tehran Internet TV for supporting innovators and influencing their work positively, and declared that YSF has been honored to showcase YSF selected teams and individuals’ products in Islamic Consultative Assembly

In addition, Eng. Jamili declared that YSF plans to internationalize through a UNESCO club, and he also called for meetings to support ideators who were not selected, and those in the AI field.

Various ideas emerged to enhance YSF and other festivals’ quality, such as supporting elites, fostering innovative and entrepreneurial spirit in young scientists, encouraging basic science students to initiate new projects, advancing sustainable development goals, facilitating ideators’ engagement with startups and run their own business, promoting math and science education, raising awareness about the significance of universities, organizing scientific events during the “Week of Science Popularization”, investing in ideators and startups, expanding Venture Capital (VC), identifying talented  young scientists from Islamic Countries, leveraging Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology platforms in universities to boost YSF’s visibility, and supporting ideators who have achieved success and created their own products and more.

Dr. Kamreai, President of YSF, regarded such meetings as a progressive step for scientific advancement and cost reduction through festival synergies.

Consequently, the president of YSF recommended that all festivals to present reports detailing their short- and long-term goals to enhance public awareness of these scientific events.
