On May 22, 2023, the Job Fair of University of Tehran was held in the presence of Prof. Mohammad Ali Zolfigol (Minister of Science, Research and Technology), Mohammad Mehdi Esmaili (Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance), Prof. Abdolhossein Kalantari (Cultural and social deputy of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology), and Prof. Moghimi (President of the University of Tehran).
This three-day job fair offered opportunities for internship and job positions, workshops. In addition, a meeting with the presence of high-level managers from three sectors of government organizations, universities, and industry was held in the conference room of University of Tehran to discuss practical solutions to the job possibilities for young graduates.
Among programs of the fair was the “Best Idea Competition” for the students and graduates to propose solutions for the challenges brough up by the industry.
Another program was the fair’s talk show to present the best ideas to participating companies.
Consulting services in marketing and branding, financial support and investment for running businesses, job opportunity planning, online shopping, commercialization and intellectual rights of the startups were also presented.
Young Scientists Festival participated in this job fair and presented the festival as among the existing platforms in country supporting the young researchers to turn their scientific idea to a business.
