On February 14, 2024, the YSF planning and management committee meeting was held at the YSF permanent secretariat. The meeting was attended by the Director of YSF Office, the Head of YSF Planning & Management Committee, the Head of YSF Scientific Committee, the Head of YSF Business Committee, and the YSF Executive Manager.
Dr. Soroush Moaddab, the YSF Executive Manager, initiated the meeting by introducing the executive program for the 8th YSF and offering recommendations in this regard.
Subsequently, the discussion focused on concerns regarding the YSF winners and emphasized the crucial need to update the YSF’s regulations.
Furthermore, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Jamili Science and Technology Foundation and Dr. Hamed Daemi, the faculty member awarded in the field of basic science during the 7th YSF. This agreement aims to provide bilateral research support credit for the project titled “Artificial blood vessel construction based on modified polyurethane with alginate sulfate derivatives.”
Dr. Daemi, Faculty Member at Iran’s Royan Institute, was honored as the awarded faculty member in basic science at the 7th festival. As a result, Dr. Daemi was granted a research credit of 2 billion Rials.
