“Milad Tower Hosts Successful Solar Observation Event on Summer Solstice Day”

On June 22, 2023, an exciting summer solstice event took place at Milad Tower, where scientists, astronomers, and interested individuals gathered to observe the sun using the largest solar telescope in the Middle East. The event was organized with the support of the Jamili Science and Technology Foundation and Young Scientists Festival and was completely free for everyone to participate in.

The solar observation was led by Professor Hamid Khodashenas, eclipse man of Iran, and other scientists and astronomers from the Sayeh Research Institute. They answered questions and provided insights into this fascinating field of study.

The observation took place on the western side of the Milad Tower, and coincided with the summer solstice, the longest day of the year, making it a particularly special occasion for those in attendance.
