Enhancing Efficiency and Productivity of Ideas Explored at the Young Scientists Festival Virtual Meeting

On Thursday, August 31, 2023, Professor Ali Emrouznejad met with members of the International Committee of the Young Scientists Festival to discuss strategies for optimizing the festival’s activities.

Dr. Soroush Moaddab, the Executive Director of YSF, highlighted the expansion of the festival’s international section, the establishment of the UNESCO Basic Sciences and Technology Club, and the signing of a memorandum of understanding with the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO). He emphasized that winners of the international section will receive 20% more grants than other winners.

According to the Festival’s Executive Manager, the inclusion of the Aanco Academy and the MineTech Accelerator completes the innovation cycle of this scientific event. These additions provide invaluable resources for fostering creativity and technological advancement.

During the meeting, Prof. Ali Emrouznejad, a renowned Professor and Chair in Business Analytics, and the Director of the Centre for Business Analytics in Practice at Surrey Business School, UK, engaged in discussions with Festival executives.

Surrey Business School, recognized as one of the leading business schools in the UK, is renowned for its exceptional teaching, research, and industry collaborations. The center’s main objective is to deliver a comprehensive business education that equips students with the skills and knowledge needed for successful careers in the business world.

Professor Emrouznejad proposed that the festival should also consider offering scholarships for doctoral and postdoctoral studies to the winners of the event, further supporting their academic growth.

Consequently, in light of his exceptional expertise and commitment, Professor Ali Emrouznejad graciously accepted the invitation to become a valuable member of the Young Scientists Festival’s (YSF) esteemed international committee. He also will actively contribute in the final evaluation of international ideas in mathematics and economics. He will also be involved in forthcoming meetings of YSF international committee and contribute to the YSF closing ceremony.
