On Tuesday, October 10, 2023, the “Be-Tavan” Conference was held at the Deheshvar Conference Hall of the College of Science of the University of Tehran under the inspiring slogan “Follow your dreams again…”
It is essential to underline that this conference serves as an event of the Young Scientists Festival (YSF), gearing up for its seventh edition in December 1402. The “Be-Tavan” event focuses its energies on nurturing innovation and supporting ideators and emerging start-up enterprises, particularly in the fundamental sciences.
The YSF themes include: Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Geology, Mathematics and Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence.
The mission is to harness the latent potential of young talent and intellectual elites to drive the progress of science and technology within the country while cementing the culture of scientific production.
Highlights within the conference’s program include speeches by notable figures all united by the rallying cry of “Inspiration and Hope.” Further enriching the discourse are three dedicated panels exploring the dynamic roles of science in everyday life, business, and the future of artificial intelligence.
Eng. Ebrahim Jamili, President of YSF Policy-making Council, outlined the noble objectives of this conference. It stands as a beacon of support for ideators that have not been selected in YSF’s past editions, using the methods of empowerment, investment and commercialization.
