On August 11, 2025, the Young Scientists Festival held a meeting at the Jamili Science and Technology Foundation, bringing together members of the executive team, senior judges, and other YSF’s committee representatives. The session was conducted both in person and virtually.
Dr. Fatemeh Mohammadipanah, Head of the International Committee, followed with a presentation on the evaluation criteria and the initial screening procedures for submitted proposals.
Dr. Alireza Sari, Head of the Scientific Committee, then discussed the importance of aligning the judging process with the festival’s mission. He highlighted the need for transparency and consistency to maintain the trust of participants and uphold academic standards.
Throughout the meeting, committee members shared constructive feedback and proposed improvements to the evaluation framework, with a strong focus on scientific merit and originality.
To conclude, Dr. Naser Gholami, Head of the Planning and Management Committee, provided a brief overview of the Jamili Foundation’s role in launching the festival. He reaffirmed the foundation’s commitment to nurturing young scientific talent and fostering innovation.
