On Sunday, December 7, a joint meeting was held between the managers of the Young Scientists Festival and the President of the ICT Park (Information and Communication Technology Park), with the aim of exploring areas of cooperation and supporting innovative teams and ideas.
At the beginning of the session, Dr. Soroush Moddab, Executive Director of the Festival, presented a report on the organization of the previous eight years, the process of identifying and guiding ideas, and the scientific and technological achievements of past events. Following this, Dr. Shadi Jamili, Director of the Festival Secretariat, outlined the available opportunities for collaboration, international capacities, and the Festival’s development programs. Later, Dr. Meshkat Asadi, CEO of Aan Business Group, delivered a report on the group’s investment activities, the initiatives of the Aansoo Academy, and the role of this organization in supporting selected teams.
Subsequently, Dr. Mafi, President of the ICT Park, welcomed the prospect of extensive cooperation with the Festival and announced the Park’s full readiness to support selected teams and startups. He also proposed measures regarding the provision of facilities to the Festival’s selected teams, collaboration in organizing joint events in the field of mine digitalization, and the preparation of a roadmap for smart mining.
At the conclusion of the meeting, it was agreed that a memorandum of cooperation between ICT Park and the Festival would be signed. This session marked the starting point of broad collaboration between the Festival and ICT Park for the development of the innovation and technology ecosystem.
