On Wednesday, August 13, 2025, a meeting was held with the presence of representatives from the Young Scientists Festival and Dr. Khezri, Director General of the Ministerial Office and Public Relations at Iran’s Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology.
During the session, a report was presented on the festival’s activities, and strategies for broader outreach in the ninth year of the festival were discussed—particularly targeting universities, faculty members, and the academic community across the country. The importance of universities in encouraging students and young researchers to participate in this national event was also emphasized.
The discussion continued with proposals for expanding the festival’s international activities. Drawing on his valuable experience in this field, Dr. Khezri offered insights on leveraging global capacities, engaging with international organizations, and showcasing the scientific achievements of Iranian youth on a global stage.
The 9th Young Scientists Festival, aimed at identifying and supporting innovative ideas from the country’s youth, will once again invite participants from basic sciences. With an extra approach this year in intelligent automation in mining and mineral sectors, it also welcomes ideators, startups, and outstanding young faculty members.
