A meeting was held between Dr. Shadi Jamili, Head of the Secretariat of the Young Scientists Festival, and Dr. Rouzbeh, President of the Organization for Development of International Science and Technology Cooperation (ODISTC) under the Presidential Administration.
During the session, an overview of the festival’s formation, its eight-year trajectory, and its international objectives was presented. The festival’s role in fostering global networking and facilitating connections among researchers, entrepreneurs, and international scientific institutions was emphasized.
Further details were shared regarding the mission and capabilities of the Organization for Development of International Scientific and Technological Cooperation. The organization’s mandate to leverage domestic scientific and innovative capacities in order to establish links with global research and technology centers was outlined. Its efforts to expand knowledge-based markets and promote joint research collaborations were also highlighted.
The national platform “Connect Forum” was introduced as a strategic tool for scientific and technological networking. Its functionalities—including information exchange, collaboration opportunities, access to global markets, and direct engagement between universities, researchers, startups, and innovation entities—were described. The platform was positioned as a potential driver for enhancing Iran’s scientific and technological diplomacy.
It was announced that the ODISTC stands ready to support the Young Scientists Festival in advancing international engagement and expanding collaborative scientific and technological networks.
The meeting was also attended by Dr. Soroush Moddab, Executive Manager of the Festival, and Dr. Rostami, Head of the Office for International Business Development within the organization.
