A strategic meeting was held on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, between Mr. Ebrahim Jamili, President of the Festival’s Policy Council; Dr. Abdolmajid Rahmani, CEO of the Organization for Social Services and Public Participation; and Dr. Hemmatian, Deputy CEO, to discuss expanding scientific, social, and entrepreneurial cooperation, as well as enhancing public outreach and educational platforms.
During the session, participants explored joint collaboration opportunities in urban entrepreneurship, social innovation, and youth-led initiatives aimed at addressing urban challenges.
Dr. Rahmani emphasized the importance of cooperation between the Festival and Tehran Municipality, noting that such collaboration could enhance public services, strengthen the integration of cultural and social events, and create new avenues for entrepreneurship.
Mr. Jamili expressed full support for the initiative and stressed the need to implement existing MoUs and align the Ninth Young Scientists Festival with the capacities and outreach potential of the municipality.
Dr. Hemmatian highlighted the importance of establishing sustainable cooperation mechanisms and effective oversight for joint projects. She also proposed actionable steps to operationalize MoUs in the areas of education, entrepreneurship, and youth empowerment.
The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to expanding public awareness of the Festival and developing educational platforms as key pillars of cooperation. A formal memorandum of understanding between the Festival and the Organization for Public Participation is expected to be signed in the near future.
