YSF Hosted the Meeting with International Astronomy Olympiad Medalists

In line with its commitment to supporting the nation’s talented youth, the Young Scientists Festival recently held a meeting with five gold medalists from the International Astronomy Olympiad. The meeting aimed to recognize their achievements and discuss strategies for promoting scientific development and supporting top talent in the fundamental sciences. During the meeting, the head of the YSF Policy Council congratulated the students and their families, emphasizing the crucial role of young generation in advancing the country’s science and technology landscape. He also reaffirmed the festival’s dedication to fostering an environment that nurtures young talent and enables them to achieve their aspirations.

Medalists also shared their experiences of the challenging and tumultuous path to success in the Olympiad during this meeting and called for more support to continue their academic journey within the country. Suggestions were also made regarding how to increase interaction and collaboration between elites and this festival to enhance the scientific and research level of the country.
