In celebration of the World Astronomy Week, the Young Scientists Festival (YSF) proudly presented “A Night with the Stars,” a captivating event held in Tehran from May 13th to 17th, 2024. This event, designed to promote science and foster scientific curiosity, offered a unique opportunity for the public to explore the wonders of the cosmos through telescopes, under the guidance of experts and professionals.
With “A Night with the Stars”, the YSF aimed to engage the community in the celebration of astronomy and provide an engaging platform for people of all ages to learn about the mysteries of the universe.
This event saw a record-breaking attendance, with more than 2500 people participating in this unique astronomical experience. Over the course of five nights, attendees flocked to various locations across Tehran, including the Milad Tower, Mellat Park, Azadi Tower, and Mina Dome.
This event was successfully organized by the Young Scientists Festival, in collaboration with the UNESCO Basic Sciences and Technology Club, University of Tehran Foundation, Cultural Department of the Azadi Tower, Social and Cultural Service of Milad Tower in Tehran and Tehran Municipality District 3, Amateur Astronomy Association and experts in the field of science popularization and astronomy.
