On Monday, June 9, 2025, the Supreme Committee of the Young Scientists Festival convened a meeting with Dr. Ehsan Chitsaz, the Deputy of Policy and Planning for the Strategic Studies and Digital Economics Center at ICT Research Institute.
During the meeting, attendees discussed potential avenues for supporting the YSF’s laureates within the framework of “value creators” in science and technology and focused on fostering collaboration and synergies between the ICT Science and technology Park and YSF.
Additionally, the meeting addressed the potential establishment of a specialized support line for mineral digitalization.
Mr. Jamili, the President of YSF Policy Council emphasized the crucial role that government institutions play to support scientists and researchers and also underscored the significance of cultivating strong internal organizational partnerships to effectively identify, nurture, and commercialize innovative ideas proposed by young scientists.
Dr. Meshkat Asadi, CEO of the Aan Group, also introduced the Aansoo Academy and the group’s educational and investment activities in the field of innovative businesses during the meeting. She offered suggestions for creating effective links between the technological capabilities of scientists and the existing capacities at the ICT Park.
Additionally, Dr. Gholami, Head of the Planning and Management Committee, and Dr. Soroush Moddab, Executive Manager, provided a report on the implementation process of the ninth YSF and ongoing interactions with academic and industrial centers across the country.
This meeting was held to foster collaboration between the festival and strategic institutions in the fields of information technology and the digital economy. Both parties emphasized the continuation of cooperation and synergy to enhance the country’s innovation ecosystem.
