Meeting with Iran’s Vice-President for Women and Family Affairs

The President of the Policy Council for the Young Scientists Festival (YSF) recently met with Iran’s Vice-President for Women and Family Affairs, Dr. Zahra Behrouzazar to discuss the achievements and challenges of the festival. The President emphasized that the event, which is organized as an official event of the country, is organized entirely by the private sector, the “Jamili Science and Technology Foundation”, to support innovators in the field of basic science.

During the meeting, a comprehensive report on the festival’s activities was presented, and the importance of providing extensive support for the festival’s winners was emphasized. The President also requested Dr. Behrouzazar’s assistance in raising the visibility of the innovators, elites, and winners of the festival, acknowledging their significant contributions to the field.

The President further urged the government to provide comprehensive support for the development of the winner’s activities and to expedite the necessary permits for innovators to establish and operate their businesses. He emphasized the importance of ongoing efforts to elevate the status of the festival and to foster the growth of innovative projects.

Expressing her full readiness to support the festival laureates, Dr. Behrouzazar highlighted that the development and promotion of scientific and research innovations are key priorities for the government, and supporting the Young Scientists Festival could be a significant step in this direction.
