A meeting was held on Tuesday, May 7th, at the Embassy of India in Tehran, Iran, with the presence of the Director of YSF Office and the Indian Ambassador to Iran. The purpose of the meeting was to explore possibilities for cooperation between the YSF and Indian universities, as well as innovation and technology centers.
During the meeting, Dr. Shadi Jamili, the Director of YSF Office, outlined the objectives and framework of the Young Scientists Festival (YSF). Additionally, Dr. Jamili provided details on the steps involved in organizing and participating in the three categories of ideators, start-up businesses, and awarded faculty members, all within specified themes related to basic sciences.
Dr. Fatemeh Mohammadipanah, Head of YSF International Committee, explained the measures implemented in the YSF International Committee and emphasized the significance of involving faculty members from top Indian universities in the arbitration process and other festival-related processes.
Furthermore, Dr. Mohammadipanah highlighted the capacity of Indian universities and innovation and technology centers, emphasizing the need for interaction between the YSF and related collections in India.
Dr. Soroush Moaddab, YSF Executive Manager, suggested conducting webinars and joint seminars between the Indian scientific and technological centers and the Young Scientists Festival. Dr. Moaddab expressed the YSF’s full readiness to execute this plan.
During the meeting, Nazanin Daneshkhah, the representative of Aansoo Academy, highlighted the educational initiatives of the Academy, and proposed organizing a collaborative event to explore Indian innovative and technological companies.
In addition, Elham Moeini Fard, the CEO of Minetech accelerator, provided an overview of Minetech’s achievements and initiatives in the mining industry.
Indian Ambassador to Iran, Rudra Gaurav Shresth, expressed his satisfaction with the establishment of the meeting and emphasized India’s capacities and growth in the field of technology and innovation.
He considered India to be one of the pioneers in business acceleration and viewed the interaction between accelerators in Iran and India as strategic. He declared his full readiness to establish two-way communication between the Young Scientists Festival and related centers in India for synergy and exchange of experiences.
