On Wednesday, May 7, 2025, Prof. Seyed Komail Tayebi, President of the ECO Science Foundation, visited the Secretariat of the Young Scientists Festival and met with its leadership to discuss pathways for expanding joint cooperation.
During the session, the festival’s capacities and programs for supporting talented youth, developing the innovation ecosystem, and fostering connections between creative young individuals and national and international structures were presented. The ECO Science Foundation also outlined its initiatives and resources in the area of scientific and cultural diplomacy across ECO member states.
Both parties emphasized the necessity of broadening international cooperation, organizing joint scientific and promotional events, and creating opportunities for interaction among outstanding young talents from different countries of the region.
At the conclusion of the meeting, it was agreed that a draft memorandum of understanding would be prepared between the YSF and the ECO Science Foundation, setting the stage for the implementation of collaborative programs in scientific, cultural, and innovative fields across the region.
