In a move to expand support for young innovators and facilitate the commercialization of great achievements, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the Young Scientists Festival (YSF) and the Policy and Development Department of the Vice Presidency for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy.
The agreement was formalized in the presence of Dr. Mahdi Elyasi, Deputy for Policy and Development, and Eng. Ebrahim Jamili, President of YSF Policy-making Council. According to the memorandum, both parties have pledged to carry out joint initiatives aimed at supporting festival winners along the “idea-to-execution” pathway, including streamlining implementation processes, providing support for promising teams, and guiding them toward supportive and investment structures.
During the meeting, participants reviewed YSF’s successful track record in identifying and nurturing creative youth, and discussed strategies for developing the innovation ecosystem and facilitating idea commercialization through joint mechanisms.
The signing of this memorandum represents a significant step toward advancing the knowledge-based ecosystem and enhancing the role of young elite talents in addressing national challenges.
