The 7th Forum of Rectors of Iranian and Russian Universities with the Presence of YSF

On February 18, 2025, the 7th Forum of Rectors of Universities of Iran and the Russian Federation, aligned with the Young Scientists Festival, was held at Negarestan Museum in Tehran, Iran. During the event, leaders from both countries introduced their universities and discussed potential collaborations.

Following this, Mr. Jamili, President of the YSF’s Policy Council, introduced the Young Scientists Festival, stating: “Since 2017, with the support of the Jamili Science and Technology Foundation, the festival has been held annually in collaboration with the University of Tehran and other leading universities and research institutes across the country. It is recognized as a scientific event approved by the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology. Given the festival’s international outlook aimed at enhancing and expanding international cooperation, we are keen to broaden our interactions with scientific institutions and universities in Russia.”

Mr. Jamili continued, “We aim to foster young scientists and advance their progress in science and technology. We are committed to this mission and would like to facilitate online meetings with the presidents of Russian universities present here. These discussions will help us collaboratively identify opportunities to achieve our shared scientific objectives.”

In attendance at the meeting were key representatives from YSF, including Mr. Ebrahim Jamili, President of the YSF Policy Council, Dr. Shadi Jamili, Director of YSF Secretariat, Dr. Soroush Moaddab, YSF Executive Manager, Eng. Shima Manzoumi, YSF Senior International Expert, and Eng. Nastaran Kolahi, YSF Science and Media Promotion Secretary.
