A strategic meeting, with a focused agenda on developing plans for the anticipated 9th year of the Young Scientists Festival in 2025, was held with the attendance of Dr. Salehi, Deputy of Research at the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology, and the leadership committee of the Young Scientists Festival.
During the meeting, Dr. Salehi underlined the significance of the Young Scientists Festival as a key event supported by Iran’s MSRT. He stressed the importance of continually refining the peer review process for proposals submitted each year, with a particular focus on the upcoming 9th year of the festival and future iterations, including both national and international expertise in the evaluation process.
He also underscored the festival’s role in guiding scientific and research ideas towards commercialization and innovation and called for expanding scientific and academic collaborations to strengthen the country’s innovation ecosystem.
In conclusion, Dr. Salehi expressed appreciation for the efforts of the YSF management committee and acknowledged the festival’s crucial role in advancing basic sciences and nurturing young innovators.
