Meeting with the Center for International Science and Technology Cooperation (CISTC)

A meeting was held between the Center for International Science and Technology Cooperation (CISTC) and the Young Scientists Festival (YSF).

At the beginning of the meeting, Ms. Mohammadi Panah explained the internationalization process of the festival, the establishment of the UNESCO Basic Sciences and Technology Club, the level of support for the elites and the opening time of the registration portal. Then Mr. Moaddab mentioned some points about the introduction of the Exemplary Young Professors Section of YSF and the holding of scientific webinars in all parts of Iran.

In the following, Mr. Hosseini introduced the various international departments of CISTC:

  1. Export development of companies
  2. International communication with the government centers of the world
  3. Human capital (a platform on which different cooperation models with research institutes and universities are formed and as a result, workshops are held and human resources are recruited).

He further appreciated the mission of YSF and expressed his agreement to support it as follows:

  • Introducing the YSF to 300 international entrepreneurs,
  • Providing the email addresses of 2500 international graduates who are currently in Iran,
  • Introducing projects approved by the Iran National Elites Foundation (INEF) that require investment,
  • Introducing successful scientific people who have returned to Iran.

Afterwards, Ms. Mohammadi Panah requested Mr. Hosseini to introduce international judges as well as speakers for the closing ceremony of the YSF.

Finally, it was decided to organize another meeting regarding the support of the elite soldiers by the YSF and the CISTC.

Young Scientists Festival (known as YSF) is held annually in order to promote the culture of self-belief and create motivation and hope in the young researchers studying or working in the fields of Basic Sciences as well as start-up and knowledge enterprises. As a scientific event, the festival provides talented young people and new businesses with awards and educational support to develop their ideas into practical applications as well as networking and building their future teams.
